from the TDM it looks like the majority of the plot is going to be "here's a different (fake?) world to explore/fight monsters/get horror experience in" rather than an asylum "how did we get here how do we get home" sort of game. Is that an accurate assessment or is it just the prompts this tdm?
Answer: the specific prompts in the TDM are simply there to give people an idea of the strange things that can happen occasionally in the setting. I specifically linked to the setting, the housing arrangements, and premise pages in the first section to give people ideas for prompts in the setting at large.
The events themselves, the carnival for example, won't be occurring on any specific schedule.
