Why do you feel this character is a good fit for the setting? This need not be exhaustive, either, and can sometimes be summed up in a sentence, but we ask that you explain why you feel the character would fit well in the game setting in regards to the types of events they'll be facing and the psychological stress they'll be subjected to.
Writing sample(s): This can be anything as long as it is from within the last year and doesn't break the 4th wall (such as dear_mun or dear_player).

character information.
Name: Paul “Jesus” Rovia
Canon: The Walking Dead
Canon Point: s9
Age: 38
(canon) background: Wiki
abilities: Hand-to-hand combat, martial arts, escapology, knowledge of firearms and blades, parkour
Personality: Having been raised in group homes for most of his life, Paul has learned to be adaptable to most situations that come into his path. He generally goes at problems in a rational and violence-free way unless there is no other option. Even when they had captured a group of Saviors that others were vying to kill, he protested, stating that because they’d surrendered, it wasn’t right to kill them.
His nature tends to be relaxed and easy-going, and he is typically the peace-keeper, especially in Hilltop. He is a not quite second in command to Gregory due to this, and he goes to the leader of Hilltop with problems in the community and he’s not afraid to let his opinion be known. Despite that, he has problems forming connections with people and would rather be on his own to provide for everyone. He even admitted to Maggie at one point that he had trouble making connections with people, including boyfriends, and when he first arrived, he wasn’t very present.
He’s not a leader by nature, but when the role is thrust upon him, he takes it as well as he can. He’d much rather be outside the walls on his own, trying to find resources or new communities to make their civilization bigger and more like how the world used to be. A sense of normalcy is important to him, and he’s built for the role of advisor. Paul is hesitant to be the one to make the community-impacting decisions because he is afraid of making the wrong ones and causing derision.
Even though he is distant with most people, when he does form connections with people, he is a steadfast ally who is willing to do what he can. When Gregory threatened to throw Maggie out of Hilltop after she had gotten there, and despite the orders from the community’s doctor to stay there, Jesus stood up for her and was determined that she would stay, even if he had to leave. He sides with her countless times and never hesitates to lend a hand.
If he were to have an alignment, he is chaotic good, and not above sabotage or breaking and entering to gather information. This has been proven on multiple occasions, whether it was breaking out of the room Rick and company locked him in to survey the community and its assets before casually waking a sleeping Rick and Michonne without much care in the world.
He is also a fan of sabotage, climbing into the back of one of the Savior’s trucks after a run to Hilltop to cut the bottoms of boxes and to throw things out the back to inconvenience them and not implicate the community. He also moved Sasha and Maggie’s hiding places and replaced it with Gregory’s stash of good alcohol when it was clear that the man meant to betray them and hand the women over to the Saviors.
Why do you feel this character is a good fit for the setting? Due to his commitment issues and the world that he’s been living in, Jesus is a good fit because it is going to test his adaptability.
